Children & AdolecentsI utilize a variety of therapy techniques, from interpersonal, narrative, play, and gestalt in working with children. Children are quite resilient and I believe that with the right parental support both in and out of therapy, your child can have a positive outcome.
I see children individually aged 10 and up, although I do have exceptions to that rule. If interested, please call to discuss. I believe that if a child or adolescent can change a negative thought or behavior pattern and replace it with a positive one, they can draw from that strength for the entirely of their lives. Children and adolescents struggle with behavioral, traumatic, and mental health issues just as adults do.
